We treat customers and coffees with care. We love to "talk coffee" with our customers, and we listen carefully to their ideas about the appearance, aroma and taste of the coffees they enjoy. We learn from our customers and from our own research in the field, and we are constantly evolving our product offerings to delight our customers.

Optimal Roasts, Freshest Beans
We roast our coffees several times each week, and blend and package them in special valved bags designed to preserve flavors and freshness. Our roasts range from medium to dark, depending on the coffee variety and our customers' preferred tastes.

Partnering for Quality
Our excellent suppliers assist us in acquiring premium green beans, fulfilling unique customer requests, and adding to our knowledge base and to the variety of quality products we provide. As we establish relationships directly with growers, we are able to learn about their values and practices and to integrate ecological and social factors into our business decisions.

Earth-Friendly Practices
We take steps to ensure that we are responsible stewards of our environment. In 2004, we began offering decaf coffees made by the Swiss Water Process®, a non-chemical decaffeination method. In 2005, we tested and added several new organic, shade-grown and fair trade coffees to our growing line of high quality offerings. In our retail store, we offer customers discounts when they purchase drinking coffee or beans in reusable containers. Through our charitable donations, we support organizations and events that foster love and respect for the earth and its citizens.
